These High-Performance springs
are considerably stiffer than stock (about 180lbs front & 200lbs rear)
and were intended to significantly improve handling by reducing body roll
and dive & squat. These are great for high performance street, autocross
etc. If used on a 240Z they don't lower the ride height (they're already
low enough), when used on a 280Z the ride height will come down about 1.5
inches to where it should have been in the first place!
The springs come with a
durable bright red powder-coated finish.
The shorter free length
makes them much easier to install than a stock spring.
